Dr. Sandye Herve Walpola - Doctor
Dr Sandye has over 17 years of experience practicing in large hospitals and in general practices.
Dr Sandye has trained in Sports Medicine with a post graduate diploma from the International Federation of Sports Medicine, an accredited centre of excellence. He has also trained in the management of Olympic sports organizations and participated as an anti-doping officer in several international sporting events.
Dr Sandye possesses vast knowledge and experience in implementing high standards such as certifications, 5’S’ Quality improvements etc.
He also has special interest in sports such as cricket, soccer, rugby and table tennis. He was the Vice- Captain of the University Table Tennis Team winning multiple tournaments.
He was also the Vice President of the local Toastmaster club which become the best in Sri Lanka during his tenure.

Prof. Rohan Jayasinghe - Cardio Specialist
FRACP, PhD, MSpM, MBBS(Hons-1)
Professor Rohan Jayasinghe graduated from Sydney University Medical Faculty with First Class Honours and earned MSpM degree from University of New South Wales and a PhD in Cardiology from University of New South Wales. He completed Cardiology training at Westmead Hospital and earned fellowships in Interventional Cardiology from John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle Australia and Beth Israel Hospital New York United States of America. He currently holds the positions of Professor of Cardiology for Griffith University since 2006 and Director of Cardiology and Cardiac Services at the Gold Coast Hospital since 2006.
Founder Co-Director of APIA conferences in Newcastle (2005) and Sydney (2006). He is also the co-inventor of JT Percutaneous Mitral Valve Replacement Technology and member of the Working Group on Acute Cardiac Care of the European Society for Cardiology.
He offers his hospital services at Gold Coast University Hospital, Pindara Private Hospital, Allamanda Private Hospital and John Flynn Private Hospital.

Dr Shireen Abbas - Doctor
Dr Shireen completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1998 in India.
Shireen moved to Australia in 2002. She started working at the Gold Coast Uni Hospital as a registrar practising in Medicine and Geriatrics, Aged Care from 2007-2014.

Dr Shireen is a mother of 2 girls and enjoys spending her time with her family and friends.

Dr Jenny Melgarejo-Mendieta - Doctor
Dr Jenny has over 10 years experience as a doctor.
Originally completing her medical degree in 2001 in Colombia. Jenny moved to Australia in 2010 where she worked in Bundaberg Emergency for 2 years. She then moved to the Gold Coast where she has been a GP for the last 4 years.
Jenny speaks fluent Spanish and is the mother of 4 year old twins.
Jenny’s special interest include;
- Womens Health
Dr Jenny’s other interested include, spending time with her children, PT training and doing activities out doors.
Dr Jenny works Monday – Thursday 8am – 4pm Friday 8am – 12.30pm
Dr Jonatar Boton Reyes
Dr Jonatar has over 15 years of experience practicing in large Hospitals and in General Practice.
Dr Jonatar brings knowledge and experience in Womens health to the clinic through his extended training at the Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital and has certificates in Mirena and Implanon insertion.
His special interests include paediatrics, geriatrics and Men’s health.
In his free time he enjoys time with his family.
Dr Jonatar is available Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm.
